En 2002, dans l'esprit d'innovation, les DRÔLES DE JARDINS sont inaugurés.
Les mises en scène qui créent les espaces verts étonnent et amusent les visiteurs par leur originalité.
La création de particuliers et/ou d'écoles sur une surface entretenue par la jardinière de la ville, Christelle Lecherbonnier.
Les botanistes professionnels et amateurs ont laissé libre cours à leur imagination pour proposer aux visiteurs des thèmes d’exposition des plus insolites.
The "Drôles de jardins" is an annual event in the village. Up to 12 plots of land are given over to associations, horticultural colleges, and botanical specialists. A theme - chosen by the gardening team in St Fraimbault led by Christelle Lecherbonnier - is imposed and each group then has the freedom to create whatever they want within the limits of this theme. The resulting gardens are then judged, and prizes awarded in the autumn. The gardens are linked by a path and surrounded by a maze of maize.
